The short answers.
The long ones are in the docs, chapter by chapter.
- What is Unconventional Market?
- A token launchpad on Robinhood Chain where every market is paired with an unconventional quote: a token that tracks an index, a ticker, or some other number with a price. If it has a price, it has a market.
- What is a quote token?
- An ERC-20 that follows the live price of the thing it is named after. Each one trades in its own Uniswap v4 pool against USDG, a dollar token, where a peg keeps it at that price.
- How does the peg stay on price?
- A keeper publishes each reference price on chain and moves the peg to follow it. Every update is a public transaction, listed on the quotes page.
- What does a launch involve?
- One transaction: name your token, pick the quote it is priced in, choose your share of the supply, and sign. The pool opens at a $4,000 market cap with the liquidity locked.
- What do creators earn?
- Up to 10% of the supply at launch, plus half of the 1% tax on every trade, paid in the quote the market is priced in, in the same transaction as the trade.
- Can new quotes be added later?
- Yes. The launchpad reads its list of quotes from a registry contract, so a new one is usable the moment it is listed.
Pick a quote. Launch a market. Go sit by the pond.
